chapter one
No photograph needed — just the details a godparent knows by heart. Watch the cover above and the pages below become theirs.
Everything can be changed later, before printing.
In your real book you'll also add eyes, patron saint, baptism date, and a dedication from you.
When the first drops fell, Noah looked at the darkening sky — and then at his young helper. “Quickly, Mila — the little ones first.” So Mila lifted the smallest lamb and carried it gently up the ramp, two by two, into the great wooden ark.

made with reverence
We love the Church's iconographic tradition far too much to imitate it. Icons belong to prayer. These are storybook illustrations — warm, hand-finished, and impossible to mistake for an icon.
Your child joins the story as a helper and a witness — never depicted as Christ, the Theotokos, or a saint.
We began with Noah's Ark deliberately: a beloved story that is told faithfully with no depiction of Christ at all.
Every page is checked for theological fidelity by an Orthodox priest before it is ever printed.

questions, answered plainly
It is a storybook, deliberately not an icon. The illustrations are warm children's-book art in a style that could never be confused with sacred iconography, and your child appears beside the story's heroes — never in place of Christ, the Theotokos, or a saint. Every page is reviewed for theological fidelity by an Orthodox priest before printing. Our first story, Noah's Ark, was chosen partly because it can be told faithfully with no depiction of Christ at all.
No — and we prefer not to have one. You describe your child the way a godparent would: name, hair, eyes, skin. The character is drawn from those details alone. Nothing is uploaded, and the details you share are used only to make your book.
Before anything is printed you receive a complete digital proof — every page. We adjust hair, spelling, dedication, anything, until it's right. If a printed book ever arrives damaged or misprinted, we reprint it free.
The digital PDF is same-day. Printed books are produced in 3–5 business days in the US and typically arrive within about ten days. Baptism around the corner? Gift the PDF at the font and the hardcover a week later.
Yes. We begin with the shared stories of Scripture, at home in every Orthodox jurisdiction — Greek, Antiochian, Serbian, Russian, Romanian, OCA. Saint editions (St. Nicholas, St. George, Sveti Sava…) are coming; vote above. Da — srpsko izdanje je u pripremi, na srpskom jeziku.
Read-aloud ages 2–8. The language is simple and faithful — short sentences for little ears, nothing watered down.
A small family effort by an Orthodox parent and engineer — illustrated with care, reviewed by clergy, printed in the US. We're making the book we couldn't find for our own family.
