Is it appropriate for a Christian home? Is this an icon?
It is a storybook, deliberately not an icon. The illustrations use a warm children's-book language distinct from sacred iconography, and your child appears beside the story's heroes, never in place of Christ, the Virgin Mary, or a saint. Noah's Ark does not depict Christ. Its story is the one every Christian tradition shares, told for children of all of them.
Do you need a photograph of my child?
No, and we prefer not to have one. You describe your child the way a godparent would: name, hair, eyes, skin. The character is drawn from those details alone. Nothing is uploaded, and the details you share are used only to make your book.
How are the illustrations made?
With AI image tools, and then by hand. Every character and scene is generated from our own art direction, and no picture reaches a printed page until a person has looked at it and approved it — for craft, for likeness to what you chose, and for whether it belongs in a Christian home. That review is why only some characters are ready: the rest are still being drawn and checked. We would rather tell you this plainly than let you find it out later.
What happens after I order?
First you see the whole price — book and shipping to your address — on this page, before you are sent anywhere. Payment itself is not open yet: we are still finishing that part, and we would rather say so than take an order we cannot complete. When it opens, the payment will be handled on the provider’s own page so that we never see or hold your card details, an order will count as paid only once the provider confirms it to us directly, and nothing will go to the printer before that.
When will the book be ready?
Printing starts about a day after you order, once your book’s files have been checked. For most US addresses the printer’s estimate is about two to three weeks for Standard delivery and one to two weeks for Faster, counted from when printing starts. The exact estimate for your address, in business days, is shown in the order form before you pay; it is the printer’s estimate, not a guaranteed date. The digital PDF arrives by email a few minutes after payment.
Where is the book printed?
Close to you. Every book is printed on demand by our print partner, whose network sends each order to the print facility nearest the delivery address, so US orders are usually printed and shipped within the United States. If that facility cannot take an order, it can occasionally be printed at another one in the network.
What if the book arrives damaged or wrong?
Email us with your order number and a photo. If the book arrived damaged or misprinted, or does not match what you approved, we print it again and ship it at no cost, or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. If tracking shows it was never delivered, we send a replacement. Because every book is printed for one named child, we cannot take returns for a change of mind or for details confirmed before paying, so please check the preview carefully.
Which book languages can I choose?
Noah's Ark ships in English only for now, and so is the rest of the site. Other language editions are something we are considering for a later release.
What age is it for?
Read-aloud ages 2–8. The language is simple and faithful: short sentences for little ears, nothing watered down.
Who is behind this?
A small effort by one Christian family, illustrated with care. We're making the book we couldn't find for our own children, and sharing it with every family that wants one too.
