Terms of Service

Bright Week Books · Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms apply when you use brightweekbooks.com or buy a book from us. The seller is Alt Software Solutions EOOD, ul. Hubcha 2, Sofia, Bulgaria, operating as "Bright Week Books" ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What we sell

We sell personalized illustrated children's books. In each book, a child you name appears as a companion to the figures of a Bible story. The child is drawn from a set of illustrated characters you choose from. It is not a portrait of your child.

Our books retell Bible stories for young children. They are storybooks, not icons or liturgical texts, and simplify the story for children aged about 2 to 8.

We currently sell one hardcover title, *Noah's Ark*, 8.5 × 8.5 in, and ship only to addresses in the United States. Product pictures and on-screen previews are illustrations of the finished book. Printed colors can differ slightly from your screen.

2. Your order and your approval

Before you pay, we show you a preview of your book with your child's name, your dedication and the character you chose.

When you click "Review total with shipping", you confirm that the name, dedication and character are exactly as you want them printed. From that point they cannot be changed for that order. We print them exactly as confirmed, including spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Please check carefully. We cannot accept responsibility for mistakes in details you confirmed.

An order is accepted when your payment is confirmed. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if:

You confirm that you are 18 or older, and that you have the right to use the name and dedication you give us.

3. Prices, payment and taxes

4. Printing, shipping and delivery

5. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellation. You can cancel for a full refund until the book goes into production, which happens 24 hours after payment. To cancel, email support@brightweekbooks.com with your order number. After that the book is being printed for you and the order can no longer be canceled.

Personalized goods. Because every book is made for one named child, we do not accept returns or give refunds for a change of mind, or for errors in details you confirmed before paying (see section 2).

When something is our fault, we make it right. If your book arrives damaged or misprinted, or does not match what you approved, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will reprint and reship it at no cost, or refund you in full if you prefer. A misprint means, for example, a wrong or missing page, the wrong name or character, or a defective binding.

Lost in transit. If tracking shows the book was never delivered, tell us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and we will send a replacement.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days after we issue them.

This section does not limit any rights you have under the consumer laws of your state.

6. Intellectual property

The story text, illustrations, characters, design and the Bright Week Books name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

When you buy a book, you own that physical copy. You may:

You may not reproduce the book, or its illustrations or text, for sale or other commercial use, or build other products from them.

You keep any rights you have in the dedication you write. You give us permission to print it in your book.

7. Using the site

Please do not:

We may suspend access to anyone who does.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and our books are provided "as is". Except for our promises in section 5, and as far as the law allows, we make no other warranties.

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Disputes and governing law

If something goes wrong, please email us first. Most problems are solved quickly that way.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot settle by email is decided by the competent court in Sofia, Bulgaria: the Sofia Regional Court, or the Sofia City Court where the value of the claim requires it. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away protections that the mandatory consumer law of your country or state of residence gives you, including the right to bring a claim in your local small-claims court.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
